Do not underestimate the power of prayer!

There is nothing that can replace the effectiveness of a face to face conversation. It is the reason why networking is important for the success of a business. A conversation, a firm handshake, eye to eye contact, observation of facial expression - these are ways to gain information straight from the human source.

And that is exactly what prayer is except with God. In fact all of the networking skills that we write books and build websites and host seminars on are LITERALLY taken straight out of a page of God's book.

Prayer is an opportunity to get to know God. Even though we can't necessarily 'see' Him we can learn to effectively communicate with Him. Just as it would take time to learn to communicate with people from a different culture, it absolutely takes a time and effort to learn how God is communicating with us.

And thankfully, God is so gracious that He meets us more than halfway in trying to communicate with us. We are so precious to Him that He tailors His way of communicating based on how He created us as individuals.
